Meet our Team
Our awesome team of hairstylists offers all types of styles, that can range from classic clean cuts to rock n’ roll, shags, including but not limited to bowl cuts, layered long lengths, and fades. Our styles don’t pertain to any gender, and we love to color your hair too!

Daniela (She/Her) has been in the industry for over 8 years. She started as a hairstylist in Toronto working at a high-end salon. She later realized her passion for travel and decided to take her skill with her around the world to places such as Thailand, Australia, etc. After losing a bit of passion for her craft she decided to try something new and apprenticed back in Toronto as a Barber for a few years before she got the travel bug again and moved to New York City to pursue her dreams. She loves mixing both skills she learned as a barber and stylist to create different hairstyles that don’t necessarily fit in with general gender stereotypes.

Nancy (She/Her) loves a good joke but also a good haircut. Nancy has been a barber stylist for over a decade. She is an expert in short, textured wearable styles that are suited to your daily routines and hair characteristics, but also keeping it fun and trendy. Nancy has traveled to New York City and all over the GTA to gain vast experience behind the chair and become an expert at what she does. Her goal is to work with what you have and transform it into an enjoyable style that suits your needs. Not to mention she likes to be up to date with the latest techniques and styles. Nancy enjoys making lasting connections with people and she is eager to get her hands on your hair because after all…if you have hair, she cares.

Natalie (She/Her) comes equipped with a bubbly personality and a love for hair. Natalie’s area of expertise is colour and curly hair. She’s got a love for all things balayage, detailed highlighting, creative colour and corrective colour. She also works with Type 2 and Type 3 curly hair. Natalie has excelled in creating and maintaining client relationships and is looking forward to meeting fresh new faces! With extensive training and experience behind the chair she’s got the confidence to make you look and feel your best.

Shane (They/Them) has been in the industry for about 2 and a half years. Having gone to Marca College and completed their apprenticeship at Life Hair Studio, Shane loves creating a safe and exciting work space for all. Shane absolutely loves short hair/fades, creative hair, hair color and loves creating gender affirming haircuts! Shane is from the east coast and loves animals including their pets Rain, Potato and Heihei.

Ari (They/Them), has a passion for making people feel like their truest selves through creating cool hair and good conversations. They started working in a salon when they were 17 years old and have worked all positions in hair studios including makeup artist for a little bit! Hair was always a hobby for them, so being able to do it as a career has been very fulfilling. Ari believes it is super important to be able to express yourself through hair, clothing and music, you can catch them sharing their outfits and current favorite music over on their instagram stories! Community engagement is another love of theirs and so they try to volunteer at 2SLGBTQIA centers to offer gender affirming haircuts, as often as they can.

Neon (He/They) has been doing hair from the age of 17 because he couldn’t find a creative stylist in my small town of Innisfil Ontario. Cutting his own hair turned him onto a path of opportunity where they found ability, dexterity, and connection with others. A haircut can be a soulful and fulfilling experience that he’s grateful to provide. He also is an experienced bike mechanic with a zest for process.

Misra (They/Them) moved to Canada from Istanbul, Turkey in 2018. They have been cutting and colouring their own hair from a young age, and decided to take the steps to pursue this passion of hairstyling as their career. Leaving an education of industrial design behind, they are now focused on growing their skill and knowledge with the hopes of one day traveling to help queer and trans communities around the world have the ability to express themselves through their hair. They are detail oriented, precise and enthusiastic about hair art.

River (She/They) is an enthusiastic and passionate young stylist. She loves to help people express themselves through their hair. Nothing makes her happier than working with a client to find the exact look that makes them feel their best. She especially loves to create gender-euphoric cuts, colour and styles. She feels the most passionate about All creative colors and haircuts!

Monica (She/Her/Hers) has a passion for cutting, curls, and vivid colours, and is aspiring to be a curl specialist one day! She is working on learning and practicing short haircuts including fades and pixie cuts. Monica is a graduate of Aveda Institute Toronto, after working in social work for almost a decade. She loves providing gender affirming haircuts for her friends, and is looking forward to learning more about hair cutting. In her spare time, she loves to knit, bike around the city, and spend time with loved ones.

Livey (They/Them) is patient and asks lots of questions to give you hair that feels like home. They work on all lengths of hair and will teach you to style your natural texture. They enjoy creative, expressive cuts like shags, chelsea cuts, and wolf cuts. Their favourite thing to do is a curly mullet. They love colour theory and will dye your hair any colour. Outside of work, they love dogs, animated TV, fashion, and songwriting. They care about disability justice and masks during appointments.

Kyler’s been in the industry for 8 years. Studying and training with some of the leading educators in the industry. Developing skills from behind the chair, hair shows, runways and getting opportunities to teach in front of groups of people, he has built a strong foundation and understanding of hair. Kyler looks at hair as a way to utilize his creative abilities to make clients achieve their vision while feeling good and confident about themselves.

Sahar (They/Them) is a seasonal multidisciplinary artist who is passionate about creating spaces and hairstyles for people from all walks of life. They’ve been honing their skills as a hair artist for over 10 years in various salons and barbershops across Toronto, and have guest worked in studios in NYC and LA. As a gender-fluid person living in the city, Sahar loves the ability to express themselves through fashion, hair, conversations, music, and drag. Above all, Sahar values community, and they’ve volunteered their services at non-profit and nightlife events to benefit and elevate their Queer and Trans peers. So whether you need regular upkeep or want to try something new, they’ve got you covered.

Laura (She/They) is a passionate hairstylist who loves their career a whole lot. When she’s not busy cutting at our Ossington location, Laura enjoys shoving and getting shoved in the mosh pit, baby-talking ‘Momo the cat’, shopping for produce, and listening to My Chemical Romance. Their biggest joy is bringing true hair euphoria out of your dreams and into your head. Whether it’s to affirm your gender, make you feel like a rockstar, start over fresh, or get back to feeling like yourself, she looks forward to making magic with you. If you think you saw her at the concert, you probably did! Say hi next time!

Honey (She/Her) was born in January in a little town called Maple Ridge, BC. When she is not doing hair, she loves cooking. Anything involving southern food? See her there! Honey started her journey towards becoming a hairstylist when she was about 17 in a small braiding shop on Lakeshore and by 20 she graduated from the Aveda Institute. Now she is all grown up and her mission is to help people embrace their natural hair in all its versatile glory.
